I am enjoying the Spindle Cove series, although I am reading them out of order.
I loved Minerva, she was independent and strong and curious. Collin was kind of a douche but he did come around and find he was in love with Min. I hated how he kept calling her different names, it felt very disrespectful. Their chemistry was great, however. The end was not a surprise, but it was unexpected.
I enjoyed overall because I just loved Minerva and her spectacles and passion for science. A woman ahead of her time. I had read Remarkable Creatures and loved it, and I saw many parallels between Minerva’s journey and the true story of Mary Anning.
