Oh what a good ending for the Bareknuckle Bastards! It took me a little bit to get into this one. At first, it was hard to imagine the villainous brother from the first two books as the hero of his own book.
But I loved the history that Ewan and Grace shared and I definitely believe his redemption was hard earned. Ewan had to make tough decisions in his life, but always kept Grace front and center in his mind. The angst and groveling was necessary and perfect.
I am sad to leave this series behind but I truly loved this trilogy and how the fate of all three couples was determined with the conclusion of this wonderful book. I anticipating re-reading this series one day, which is rare. Sarah MacLean is one of the only authors I am able to re-read.
