By Tessa Dare
Despite its overlong and double entendre title, this novella from one of my favorite historical romance author’s is quite good. Mr. Wright performs as a rake but hints at another side to him.
We get to know the couple, first Eliza as a young woman yet to make her debut and Mr. Wright as the flirtatious man who she keeps crossing paths with.
The pair had great banter and I loved reading about them flirting and conversing over the years, and never crossing a line but coming scandalously close to it.
Tessa Dare can hardly disappoint and this was another beautiful story from her. I can appreciate that it is a novella but my only wish was that the book was longer and the title was shorter.
